Suggest a better description1. Put lemon juice into a liquid measuring cup and add heavy cream to the 1 cup mark. Let stand for a few mins.
2. Heat oven to 425. Arrange oven rack to upper third position. Spray pan with PAM.
3. Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda and blend briefly. Add butter to make coarse mixture. Make a well in center. Add egg, vanilla and enough soured cream to make a firm dough. Gently fold fruit in. Brush each scone with milk.
4. Bake 16 to 19 mins.
Honey Glaze
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup unsalted butter
Heat honey & butter until mixture is simmering about 1 1/2 mins. Brush scones with honey/butter glaze as they come out of oven. Let scones cool for 15 mins. before brushing on honey/butter glaze once more.
