Suggest a better descriptionRub the steak on both sides with a bit of olive oil and a light dusting of the Montreal Steak Seasoning. Allow it to sit on the counter for about 30 minutes to come to room temperature.
When it''s time to prepare dinner, preheat a broiler pan. Slap the steak on the hot pan and cook on both sides just until its almost done the way you like it. Now top the steak with some of the bleu cheese crumbles and a final garnish of chopped pecans. Slide the steak back under the broiler and cook just long enough to melt the cheese and lightly toast the nut meats.
A New York Strip steak is perfect in this recipe. Even a Delmonico is
great.
