Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x8" square pan. In saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Allow to cool. Meanwhile, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the egg to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well. Add vanilla extract and stir to combine. Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients and stir to create a thick smooth batter. Fold in half the chocolate chips.
Transfer batter to pan, spread batter evenly. Top with remaining chips and press into batter.
Bake 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
