Wash apples and remove top slice to expose interior core. Using a melon baller scoop out core completely. Moving around from the exterior to the interior make small vertical cuts to apple flesh to allow cooked apple to bloom out into chunks. Flip apple over and make vertical slices along the skin. Melt butter and brown sugar completely and mix to create sauce. Add flour, cinnamon and whisk until smooth. Place caramel in center of apple and pour sugar mixture over interior and top portion of apple. Place in 375 degree oven and cook for 25 minutes. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve.
