Prepare grill for direct cooking over medium high heat. Cut zucchini in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
Combine 1/4 c. cheese, tomatoes, bacon, green onions and bread crumbs in bowl. Toss to combine and set aside.
Preheat BBQ grill basket for 3 minutes. Brush zucchini with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place zucchini cut side down on basket. Grill covered for 6 - 8 minutes or until zucchini are crisp-tender. Remove from grill.
Turn zucchini over and fill with cheese mixutre. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Grill covered for 4 - 5 minutes. Remove from grill and garnish with basil.
***I use butter instead of olive oil.
