Made with fresh or frozen blueberries

Mix sugar & cornstarch
Place half of blueberries in small saucepan, cover with water, add sugar/cornstarch mix and vanilla.
Heat over med-high until comes to boil and blueberries start to break apart.
Turn heat down and simmer on low for 2-3 min until desired consistency. Add water, 1 tablespoon at time if gets too thick.
Remove from heat and add remaining blueberries, stir gently.
Serve warm or cold.
alternate: use blueberry preserves, heat, add pinch cinnamon. Depending on thickness of preserves, may add cornstarch if needed.
