This is a thick, rich sauce to serve on your favorite smoked meat.
- add bourbon and brown sugar to saucepan over medium heat
- simmer until slightly thickened - about 10 minutes
- stir in molasses
- simmer a minute or two
- stir in dry ingredients
- simmer a minute or two more to dissolve dry ingredients
- add ketchup and simmer twenty minutes - if sauce is too thick, add 1/3 cup of water or more to adhesive desired consistency
- chill and serve
