Broil hot dogs on both sides. If not using cocktail hot dogs, cut regular hot dogs into five pieces each. Mix hot dogs with remaining ingredients and cook slowly until syrupy. If there is not enough sauce, add a little more brown sugar, bourbon, and ketchup. Heat before serving in chafing dish or ramekin.
