pan braised with cranberries and walnuts
1. Wash, drain and halve the Brussells Sprouts.
2. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet and drain.
3. Add butter to bacon drippings .Over medium-high heat, add sprouts and onions to drippings and stir frequently for 4 - 5 minutes. Cover skillet and cook about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add cranberries and walnuts and cook additional 2 minutes.
