Suggest a better descriptionCombine the 1/2 cup bran, boiling water, orange peel and raisins. Let stand 5 minutes. Combine egg, oil, molasses and honey; mix until blended. Add buttermilk; mix well. Add the 1 cup bran and the bran-water mixture. Stir together the whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the bran mixture; stir just until blended.
