Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine mix, eggs, pie filling and nuts. Spread this mixture on a greased jellyroll pan. Bake 30 minutes. For Frosting: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake. Cut into bars. Yield: 12 to 15 servings. Variations: Chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling. Spice cake mix, apple pie filling.
