BEAT egg and water in small bowl with forl.
SPRINKLE flour on work surface, unfold pastry and roll into 14 inch square.
SPREAD preserves on pastry with within 2 inches of the edge.
SPRINKLE with cranberries and almonds.
PLACE the cheese in the center of the pastry.
FOLD the pastry up over the cheese to cover.
TRIM the excess pastry and press to seal.
BRUSH the seam with egg mixture.
PLACE seam side down onto baking sheet.
DECORATE with pastry scraps, if desired.
BRUSH with egg mixture
BAKE 20 minutes or until pastry is golden.
LET STAND for 45 minutes.
SERVE with crackers.
