Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Drain bacon and crumble, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. In the same skillet cook onion over medium heat until tender.
Drain 1 can of baked beans. In a large bowl combine drained and undrained beans, brisket, bbq sauce, brown sugar, tomato paste, molasses, mustard, liquid smoke and crumbled bacon mixture. Spoon into 2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, 75 minutes.
