1. Cook noodles in salted water for 3 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water.
2. Steam the broccoli for about 2-3 minutes.
3. Fry the chicken strips in a little sesame oil over a high heat. When they are almost cooked and all the excess moisture has evaporated, add the garlic clices and chilli strips and fry for a further minute. Add the soy sauce, honey and fish sauce and allow to reduce if a little too runny. Combine with the broccoli, noodles and sweet basil leaves and serve immediately.
Ok- I used beef strips & added some thin carrot strips cause they were just sitting in my fridge threatening to cause an uprising in the veggie drawer if I didn't use them - but since no one else saw what I did to the recipe, they were pretty pleased. I seem to be on a roll here - hope it doesn't end too soon!
