Heat oil in large saucepan over medium high heat.
Add onion and garlic
Cook 5 minutes until onion is softened
Add broth and broccoli
Increase heat to high; bring to a boil
Reduce to low, cover and simmer 5 minutes
Add avocados, and simmer 1 minute
Using an immersion blender, purée to desired consistency
Or carefully transfer to a stand blender and purée in batches.
Season with salt and pepper
Divide between 4 bowls.
Garnish with pistachios and kale chips.
Serve immediately,refrigerating any leftovers.
