A delicious casserole suitable for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
Cook broccoli according to package directions. If using fresh, steam it until still a bit crisp. It will cook more when the entire casserole bakes.
Saute onions in butter until transparent.
Combine eggs, onions, soup, and mayonnaise and stir until blended.
In a two-quart casserole dish, place a layer of broccoli. Add a layer of sauce and a layer of cheese. Repeat until all is used.
Top with the stuffing mix.
Sprinkle melted butter over the top.
Bake 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
This recipe doubles easily for additional servings.
