Old recipe from my mom. Not the healthiest, but very yummy!
Cook broccoli in salted water with onion until tender. Melt butter, 4T butter, flour and milk until thick. Then add cream cheese. Pour broccoli in casserole dish. Pour cream cheese mixture over top. Top with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Then top with bread crumbs and butter. Bake 15 minutes more uncovered.
