Suggest a better descriptionIn a large Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper, add to pan and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6 minutes or until the chicken just begins to brown. Add the onion and garlic and cook another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the broth and milk.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Add the broccoli and simmer 20 minutes or until thick. Add the sour cream and all cheese, stirring until melted. Garnish with more cheddar, if desired.
