Place a deep frying pan or wok over a high heat. When hot, add the oil, swirl to cover the bottom, then add the broccoli. Cover with a lid and stir-fry for 1 minute. Shake the pan, then remove the lid. Add water, garlic and chilli. Cover, then shake the pan again (to combine all the ingredients) and leave for 2 minutes over the high heat, shaking the pan occasionally. Tip the broccoli into a serving bowl, squeeze the lemon juice directly over it, season with black pepper and serve while piping hot.
