Preheat over to 350 degrees. Spread broccoli and onions on a roasting pan, sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper and roast for about 20 minutes.
Make the dressing: puree 1/2 avocado, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cilantro, 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp of water (more if necessary). Season with salt and pepper.
Coat broccoli and onions with dressing and serve.
