Suggest a better descriptionPosition oven rak 4 inches from broiler; preheat broiler. Heat large ovenproof skillet (cast iron) in oven for 10 minutes.
Rub steaks with 2t evoo and cut side s of garlic clove; season generously. Broil the steaks in heated skillet, flipping halfway through, 5 to 7 minutes for medium-rare. Transfer to cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, toss the tomatoes with remaining 1T evoo, parsley, basil, shallot and lemon juice; season. Serve alongside sliced steak.
