In microwave, melt margarine or butter. (approximately 25 seconds)
In one bowl, place your scallops. In a dredging bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Pour the melted margarine over the scallops, coating the scallops well, then dredge the scallops in the Italian bread crumbs. Place on the broiler pan. Season lightly with the kosher salt. Broil 4-5 minutes, turn the scallops over, add a bit more salt to the second side, and broil again for 4-5 minutes.
Can be used as an appetizer or main course.
Note: I use Bella Brand Italian Bread crumbs. You may need to adjust the salt depending on the saltiness of the bread crumbs.
