Mix dry ingredients together, add milk, vanilla and shortening. Mix until smooth. This will be fairly thick. Put in baking dish. (if doubled this fits a 9 X 13 pan).
Mix sauce ingredients and pour over. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
