Coarsely chop plum tomato. Chop onion into small pieces.
In a bowl, mix chopped tomato, onion, garlic, basil, parmesan, mozarella and olive oil.
Slice the bread into halves and lightly toast under the broiler. Brush the toasted bread with olive oil.
Spread the tomato mixture evenly over the toasted bread and broil until the cheese melts.
