Simple way to spruce up Brussels Sprouts.
Place the fresh Brussels Sprouts in a medium sized saucepan adding enough water to cover. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a slow boil. Cooking time varies with Sprouts due to size so cook just until firm tender but not mushy. NOTE; Cook the Frozen Brussels Sprouts to package directions. Drain the Sprouts and place them in a serving dish. Add seasonings to your liking at this point. Immediately pour the dressing over the sprouts and toss lightly. Top with the grated cheese. Cover dish just long enough to melt the cheese slightly. Serve while still hot.
The type of cheese used in this simple recipe is important, freshy grated, always the best.
