Suggest a better descriptionFreeze 1 stick butter and grate into a bowl of 2 1/2 cups self rising flour mixing through with a fork. Mix in 1 cup of cold buttermilk and work up into a ball. Roll out on a lightly floured board into a 9x5 rectangle and fold over once, roll back out, fold again, roll back out ,fold once more and roll back out and cut. Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 475degrees fir 15 minutes. Check to make sure they don't get too brown. Mine came out 4 minutes early.
