Delicious cookies that freeze well, so make them ahead of time and keep them on hand for dessert!
Day 1: Mix flour, egg yolk, softened butter and sour cream. Separate into 4 equal parts and refrigerate overnight. Save egg white.
Day 2:
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Mix sugar, cinnamon and walnuts to make filling. Set aside.
Roll each dough part into large circle approx. 14” and cut with pizza wheel into 16 triangles. Spread filling onto each pie piece and roll from outside to middle.
Place each cookie on buttered pan and turn into horn shape. Beat egg white and brush on top of each cookie. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove from pan while warm. Cool on rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
