Absolutely delicious and a great template for other flavors/extracts.
In small saucepan add 4 tablespoons of butter in saucepan and melt, then stirred in the flour. Cook for a few minutes to cook out the "floury taste." Slowly added the milk while whisking constantly entail thickenen. Cool it completely until it is room temperature before adding it to the other ingredients!
With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Beat both mixtures together on high speed until fluffy and smooth. Add vanilla and beat until combined. Refrigerate for about 1/2 hour, until it is of spreading consistency.
