Soft and fluffy biscuits like my grandmas .
Mix flour,baking powder,salt,bakewell cream,soda and sugar in large bowl.Place dry mixture into food processor with butter and shortening .And mix only on the quick setting for 3 pulses.Pour dry mixture in bowl add egg and buttermilk and mix until wet and dry are incorporated,donor over mix.Let rest in frig for 5 min.Remove and place on floored surface and pat to a circle of 1/2 inch thick.Cut dough with biscuit cutter and place in greased pan.Bake for 15 min. until light brown.
