The best biscuits ever!!!!!
Preheat oven to 425°
Place self raising flour in bowel, mix sugar into flour, grate butter into flour sugar mixture until butter is coated with flour. Add buttermilk until fully integrated into dough.
Spread flour onto jelly roll pan. Drop dough by large tablespoon into flour and roll to shape and cover with flour. Place in greased and parchment papered 9x9 baking pan.
Bake for 25 minutes, brush with melted butter and bake an additional 5 minutes to brown the top of the biscuits.
