Saute? onion and butter
Add remaining ingredients and cook for 20 minutes:
Put the squash into a blender and blend until creamy. Add a little of the broth but it won’t all fit without spilling. Return to pan.
Just before eating reheat but do not boil. Add 8 oz. of cream cheese. Use a wire whip to blend well. This soup has a little nip to it but is delicious.
