Suggest a better descriptionCombine milk, sugar, baking soda, and eggs by gently folding with whisk. Add 2-3 spoonfuls of flour, whisk gently, and repeat until batter is thick, around 15-16 spoonfuls total.
Heat oil until dropped batter fizzes instantly and floats. Buñuelos should be dropped in by the spoonful, turned after ~40 seconds until brown. Each bunuelo should take no more than ~1-1.5 min.
Add milk into a pot and heat until steaming but not boiling. Add in chocolate mix, semisweet chocolate, and sugar. Keep burner on low and mix until incorporated. Make a slurry of the cornstarch and water, add into hot chocolate milk until desired thickness (keep in mind it will become significantly more thick once cooled).
