I just love cabbage rolls. They are a little fussy, but so worth it. They also freeze really well.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil cabbage leaves for 2 minutes until soft.
In a large frying pan, brown onion in butter for 5 minutes. Add garlic and ground beef and cook until brown. Remove from heat and add rice, egg, milk, and salt and pepper.
Place 1/4 cup of the mixture into the centre of a leaf and roll while tucking in ends. Place into casserole dish.
In saucepan, saute butter, onion, celery, & garlic until soft. Add sugar, tomato soup, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls.
Cover and cook at 350F for 45 minutes until bubbly.
