Heat grill to high.
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef or turkey, 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese, and garlic salt. Shape into four 1/4-pound patties. Grill for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
Top each burger with romaine lettuce, salad dressing, and Parmesan cheese to taste. Serve hot.
