This easy quick recipes is great for parties or a quick dip for an unexpected dinner appetizer! I always keep a couple of cans of tiny shrimp in the cabinet and use this as a go-to recipe so it looks like I am never caught off-guard! It gets raves all around!
Heat cream cheese in microwave one minute. Add mayo, liquid from shrimp, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne. Beat with a fork until uniform. Add the shrimp and mix well. Serve with Sociables crackers or other lightly seasoned crackers. Also great with toasted baguette bread. Best served at room temperature.
This recipe evolved from a Justin Wilson recipe years ago...I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do!
If cayenne worries you, start with 1/4 tsp and add until the "heat" suits your taste buds. Instead of using cayenne, Louisiana Hot Sauce is a good alternative, and using up to 4 Tbsp works as well.
