In a pan, heat milk. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Set aside. In a bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar until frothy. Whisk in flour and cornstarch. Pour in hot milk, whisking to prevent eggs from cooking. Return mixture to pan, cook until almost boiling. Remove from heat, stir in butter, let cool before refrigerating. The consistency when set should be similar to pudding. SERVE & ENJOY.
