This easy, no dish dinner, can be made on a campfire, grill, or even in the oven!
Heat grill to medium high.
Tear 3 large sheets of aluminum foil, spray lightly with non-stick spray, and set aside. Wash and slice potatoes and onions, and divide evenly across three foil sheets. Slice sausage into pieces and divide evenly. Place one tablespoons of butter on each pile and sprinkle each with salt and pepper to taste.
Fold foil around each bundle, taking care to seal edges to avoid losing drippings into grill or oven. Place pouches on grill (or campfire/oven.) cook approximately 8 minutes on each side, taking care not to burn.
Remove from heat and open carefully, avoiding steam.
