Saute onion in butter til translucent. Add flour. Stir. Add broth. Simmer til becomes somewhat thick. Add spices. Mix. Add chilies. Mix. Add Chicken and potatoe. Simmer 1-1/2 or so hours, til chicken becomes tender.
Serve with cornbread and a margarita or beer.
