Suggest a better descriptionPeel, core and cut apples into eighths. In a Dutch oven, mix sugar, water and candies, stirring constantly, cook over medium heat about 10 minutes or til candies dissolve. Add apples land bring to a boil. Cook about 7 minutes or til apples are tender. Cool; cover and store in refrigerator. Serve chilled.
Makes 6 1/2 cups.
