Plop the chicken in your crockpot. Cover with brown sugar, pepper, garlic and soy sauce. Add the vinegar and pour soda over all. It will bubble! Cover and cook on low 6-9 hours (4-5 on high.) When the chicken is cooked through, shred and return to sauce in crockpot. Serve over rice.
