Suggest a better description1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheight. Grease a 7" by 11" pan.
2) In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramels with the milk in
the microwave, about 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
Stir until smooth.
3) In a medium bowl, mix the butter, flour, oats, brown sugar, baking
soda and salt. Press about 2/3 of the mixture in the bottom of the
prepared pan. Sprinkle chips over. Pour caramel over chips.
Sprinkle remaining oatmeal mixture over top.
4) Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely. Cut
into bars.
