Cannonball made this Pozole at Glamis North and it was amazing!
Put all ingredients into crockpot. Cook. Once Chicken is cooked, remove. Use a slotted spoon to put tomatillos, onions , garlic and chiles into blender. Blend and return to crock pot. Shred chicken or cut into bite sized pieces and return to crockpot.
OR
Put chicken into crockpot. Blend up tomatillos, onions , garlic and chiles, adding in some hot water from crockpot. Add oil to a skillet and cook chile puree over medium heat until puree turns deep green, about 12 minutes. Put chile puree into crockpot.
Remove chicken when cooked. Shred chicken and return to crock pot.
