In a 4-cup microwaveable measuring cup, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Microwave on high for about 2 min until melted and smooth, stirring after 1 min. Stir in baking soda until dissolved. Microwave another 15 seconds, mixture will expand in the bowl.
Pour liquid mixture over cereal, stirring to make sure all is coated. Roll closed the top of the bag, microwave for 6 minutes on high, stirring every 2 minutes to make sure all cereal is evenly coated.
Spread in a single layer on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container or bag.
