Preheat oven to 300F. Put popcorn in large baking pan. Cook sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in saucepan until it boils. Stop stirring and let simmer 5 minutes. Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour oven popcorn and mix until coated. Bake 15 minutes, stir, then bake further 5-10 minutes. Let cool.
