Cookie, Caramel, and Chocolate layered bars. Almost tastes like a twix.
First Layer: Shortbread
In med bowl mix 2/3 c butter, sugar, and flour until crumbly. Press into bottom of 9 inch square pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Second Layer: Caramel
In 2qt sauce pan combine 1/2 c. butter, brown sugar, sweetned condensed milk, and corn syrup. Bring 2 boil continue boiling for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and beat vigrously for 3 minuts pour over baked crust and cool until firm.
Third Layer: Chocolate.
Microwave chocolate chips for 1 minute pour over caramel and chill
Cut into small square as these can be really sweet but delicious
