PLace butter and sugar into a bowl, then beat until light and fluffy. Mix in the flour, and turn out onto floured surface before kneading briefly. Press into a greased and lined 18 x 28cm (7 x 11 inch) shallow cake tin and bake for 25 minutes, or until firm.
