Spray roaster pan with No-stick spray
place 2 bags Chester's puffed corn in pan (or you can use 12 cups of popped popcorn)
Add 1 1/2 c. mixed nuts
Mix together brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in pan on stove. Add a pinch of Cream of Tartar to make carmel crunchy,. Boil 5 minutes, then add vanilla and baking soda stirring until frothy and light.
Stir and pour over pan filled with popcorn. Bake 1 hour @ 250?stirring every 15 minutes.
Let cool on waxed paper and break apart.
