Gram Ritchie made this at holidays. It's a favorite of Dad's (Stan) but I (Donna) quit making at it Thanksgiving when pies got overwhelming.

**Carrot Pudding**
Mix first 11 ingredients (Crisco to Nutmeg) together thoroughly.
Add soda dissolved in water.
Pour into tube mold or dish rubbed with Crisco.
Bake 1 Hour - 325 degree Oven
**Hard Sauce**
Mix 1/2 cup butter, Confectioners Sugar and Vanilla together.
Grammie Ritchie always tripled this. I like to double it at least.
