Double recipe - Double recipe serves 14 people. Enough for Moms Xmas
2 Cups = 1 pint
Beat egg yolks until lighten gradually - few minutes. Add 1/3 C sugar and beat until dissolved.
Add milk, cream, bourbon and nut meg. Set aside.
In Mixer place eggs white only and beat until soft peaks ( a few minutes) Then add 1 TSB of sugar and beat until stiff peaks.
Whisk together both egg mixtures. And Chill. Will all fit in my big white bowl. Mixture will deflate a couple of inches as it sets. Make night before or like 6 hours before serving. Mixture needs to time to calm and not be so frothy. Add home made whip cream to top before serving.Put like 12 small whip cream balls to top of egg nog so each cup gets a cream ball.

Chill mixing bowl for 10-15 min or add ice to bowl for like 5-10 mins to chill.
Dump Heavy whiping cream in bowl and mix on high like 3 mins adding in TBS of sugar until you get the taste you want. stiff peaks. Store up to 10 hours. Best fresh.
