Remove the steaks from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking them so they can come to room temperature. Season both sides of the steaks with the seasoning. Place the skillet over high heat. Place the steaks in the hot pan and let them cook for about 3 minutes, undisturbed until you begin to see a little brown on the bottom edges of the steaks. Using tongs, flip the steaks. They should be deeply browned. If not, flip them back to their original side until they turn dark brown. At that point, cook the opposite side until deeply browned, about 3 minutes more. Add the butter to the pan and let it melt. Using a large spoon, ladle the butter over the steaks, which helps flavor them.
